Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Jan Huchtenburgh' after 'Frans van der Meulen and Charles Le Brun'. Jan van Huchtenburg (1647-1733) was a Dutch painter and engraver of battle scenes. Adam Frans van der Meulen (1632-1690) was a Flemish painter specialised in battle scenes.
Subject: Antique Master Print, untitled. A horse lying down, probably as a result of battle wounds or injuries.
Condition: Very good, given age. Tiny stains in margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
